The Beginning

I couldn't keep quiet any longer so I had to start doing this stuff. Check out the article Doubting Darwin - Newsweek I just can't believe the ignorance in this article. First of all I.D. has been the accepted "theory" for a very long time you didn't have to teach it. It was taught long before Darwin and will last till God comes back. I.D. is not new! A person who reads this article in ignorance would think this is a new controversy, this is exactly what they want you to think. The average un-educated, un-informed shmuck will believe this. More to come later.
A true reporter would be truthfull about the whole controversy.

I was organizing my office today and came across a couple of papers I had written on the Teleological arguement for the existence of God (basically I.D.) here's what I've got on the newness of I.D.

- Greek philosophers, "The universe can only be accounted for by the workings of an intelligent mind".

- Plato believed in a "designer"

- Thomas Aquinas fifth proof for God's existence is based on the Teleological Argument

- William Paley (1743-1805) wrote a book about it. (Natural Theology)

- David Hume (1711-1776) tried to refute the argument for a designer.

Interesting that Darwin published his book in 1859 and I.D. is the "new kid on the block".

On a side note have you read "Darwin's Black Box"?

This is NOT good Science look what visonlearning says ..
Penguins are not unique in their adaptations to the environment. Polar bears evolved white fur because it better conceals them in the arctic. All other bear species are brown or black, so we might presume that, among the remote ancestors of today’s polar bears, the whiter individuals probably had more hunting success because their prey found it harder to spot them against the snow and ice. Squirrels evolved the behavior of burying nuts during summer and fall seasons to provide them food through the winter
Isn't this just silly? or are we supposed to just sit back and believe it? Did we get white bears in one generation? - NO of course not. So what happened at best to the grey ones? - NOT happy in either environment - so they would perish. - OK, let's get a white one in one generation - Cannot survive where obviously brown or black is an advantage - so it too perishes! Squirrels ? - this is NUTS So how do you pass on behavior? - NO ANSWERS! - Could it be inherent! -Why don't squirrels just evolve using the Web to find out how they can benefit from weather patterns?
