Man with the Rage, It's not about publicity, or even persecution. It is about the right of a person to practice their freedom. This could be applied to many different suing situation. This doesn't just apply to Christianity either. This lady could have been a Muslim for all I know(obviously I don't think she is). There is no law against reading the Bible in a School, therefore this case is simply someone bullying someone else. In the name of Tolerance. If she would have been reading the Koran, Torah or maybe even a Satinist's Bible probably nothing would have been said.
To prove my point I would have to cite a case in which a woman was suspended because she had pictures of the president on her bulliten board at the school she taught at. If it would have been John Kerry(this was during the elections) noone would have said anything.
As far as I know we still live in a free society. I would like to keep it that way.
I would go as far to say that if the woman was muslim you wouldn't have even brought the story to anyone's attention.
I would go as far as to say that the news media wouldn't have reported this. I guess we will never know now that you have said that I wouldn't have. You apparently don't think that I think logically and am simply a biased Christian. You should know me better than that.
So... how was your weekend Minchanian?
My weekend was extremely busy. I am buying a house, preparing for the May Retreat, preparing to start a Junior Church, cleaning the lawn, mowing and other stuff at the Church. Other than that not too bus. Yourself??
Why don't you post personal stuff on here. We'd like to know more about you, you mysterious man. grrrrrrrrr
